The cutest spider.
Reasons to love your spider plant
One of NASA’s best plants for improving air quality – the spider plant is a natural air purifier and can remove air pollutants in the home by filtering common chemicals such as formaldehyde and benzene out of the air in your home.
Fast growing – great for draping over shelves and tables. Spider plants are known for their ‘pups’ which grow off their leaves, so you can gift your friends baby spider plants too.
Great for sufferers of dry skin or breathing problems as the spider plant will naturally humidify air.
Shade tolerant – unlike many houseplants, the spider plant doesn’t need loads of light and can handle a darker spot.
Great for beginners – one of the most neglect tolerant plants, they are hard to kill and can survive a missed watering or two!
Perfect for pets – they are non- toxic to plant and children if ingested, and are known to be a mild hallucinogen for cats!
